A few minutes after I wrote my previous post, I continued reading a book and instantly found this paragraph:
"If you need to leave a job, it doesn't mean that you are a quitter. If something is in conflict with your values, you should own up to it and revisit your one hat. Personal leadership starts and ends with knowing yourself and knowing where you're going, and why. Own up to what's not right, and do something about it."
Finding my one hat is not an easy thing for me. I spent almost the whole day today thinking, chatting, browsing, and still I'm confused. Something's telling me that I need to work hard to find it, take risks, make plans, be tactical.
Oh, what's gonna happen tomorrow? next month? next year? next few years? The road ahead may be bumpy, but I promise myself I won't give up my search for peace and happiness.
P.S. Just in case I forget about it in the future; own up to = confess/admit. Whew, a new word I learned today! :P
