Amélie

I watched Amélie… again…
Uhh... I really love it…

It made me think that:

--> Life’s greatest pleasures are often found in simple things (for Amélie that means plunging fingers deep into a sack of grains or throwing pebbles into water)

--> Life can turn to be very unexpected sometimes, so I must always be ready for the surprises

--> Let’s believe in good karma; what goes around, comes around…

--> Some people may see the things that she did to the guy in the film as weird, but I personally think they are sweet…

I love the film mainly because of the simplicity of the story and the setting (it's Paris...) It is romantic in its own way, and it has a different sense of humor.
For me, the best scene is actually the last one, the ending… when they are on a bicycle… love it love it love it…
P.S. The soundtrack's great too!

Sang Pemimpi by Andrea Hirata

(Sang Pemimpi, Andrea Hirata, hal. 153)

"Seperti halnya keburukan, kebaikan pun seringkali berbuah kebaikan. Dan satu kebaikan kecil kerap pula menyebabkan perubahan demikian besar."
(Sang Pemimpi, Andrea Hirata, hal. 184)
Oh, and I have to mention that both books come from true stories.
It is how you react to failure that is very important.
How you deal with it, to gather your strength to stand up again.
Without knowing how to do that, it is impossible to be successful.

(a successful Swiss media tycoon, namanya lupa, nonton di tv)
