Just a thought that came up today… hope this thought can remind me later on in my life…
A lesson learned today. Don’t you ever rely your happiness on anyone, whoever he/she is for you. Don’t you ever look for happiness in anyone, cause happiness comes from inside you…
Don’t you ever let anybody have the power to control your feelings…
You have the total control of yourself, not any other person. You can make yourself feel happy, sad, lonely, disappointed, etc… depending on your own decision…
When you are sad, tired, and full of problems, don’t expect (nor demand!) other people to comfort you… That will only make you feel disappointed and wounded. Especially when you found out that after you whined and spoiled all your troubles out, you didn’t get the reaction or the comfort that you’d expected…
I should keep this in mind… even when I’m married someday… I should hold on to this… Achieve true independence, ndri!

Yup. Happiness is actually in you. No power in the world can make you unhappy :)
I know it's very comfortable when we are in difficult situation, and we have some people around us having the same situation. We feel that we are not alone facing it. So they give us a little comfort, just to know that some just as pathetic as we are.
But the bad thing from above is when finally one by one of our friends successfully come out from that 'pathetic' situation, we are not very happy about that. We feel that we're left behind, then we feel alone again.
So what gitu lho?? Kok jadinya kita gantungin kebahagiaan kita dan rasa percaya diri kita ke orang laen? Kalo tadinya ada 2 sampe 3 orang yang mengalami nasib yang sama.. kita nga terlalu gimana, tapi kalo tambah lama tambah dikit, ko jadi berasa sedih?
That's human isn't it? We like to fool ourself, like to cheer ourself with nothing! with empty hope, with foolish idea about things.
Percaya de satu hal, God will give the best for those who love Him, at the right time, at the right place, and in the right situation.
So stop saying, "Jose Manuel has got a praktikum!" Let's say "Jose Manuel has got a praktikum, but SO WHAT GITU LHO???"
