Kamis tanggal 11 Januari, setelah sholat Shubuh, Opa, Mom’s stepfather, died at the age of 86.
Jumat, had medical check up at this hospital in Setiabudi Building. Gosh, such an experience. Everything was checked from top to bottom (exaggerating :P)
Tante Tati and Om John arrived and they are going to stay in Cinere for the next couple of weeks. I’m glad to meet them again. Tante Tati is as cheerful and positive as she has always been..
We had tahlilan in Kayumanis on Friday, and I got to see many of my relatives there. Looking back, in the last 15 years, Kak Netta and I were not as close anymore with Opa as we used to when we were little kids. But I do remember, Opa taught me to ride bicycle and I used to sit on his laps when I was very little.
Saturday, I went with Tante Tati and Om John to Stasiun Kota. It was a great trip and I had lots of fun. I put the story of the trip in this blog.
Saturday night, we went again to Kayumanis. I feel more and more attached to this family (Mom’s family). This kind of feeling would never have developed if I keep on staying in Germany.
Sunday, I went with Dad to PIM, to look for a present for Om Sony. He’ll have his birthday on Tuesday the 16th.
There’s a good thing of having so many family visits and gatherings these days. I can keep my mind off the result of the medical check up that I just had.
