The work in my thesis focuses mainly in making models and simulations. So most of the time, I have to sit in front of my computer, running the simulations and reading the literatures. Sometimes it can be interesting (cause I like my topic), but sometimes it is deadly boring.
Starting two days ago, I have to do some experiments to support my thesis. The experiment has been really tiring. I have to stay the whole day in Technikum, and pay attention totally to the system and hardly have time even to go to the toilette or to get a drink.
Strange, but I like it. I feel more energetic and excited. I guess different people have different feelings toward this. Cause my supervisor looks a bit stressed and not in a good mood the whole day. And she is amazed when I told her that I prefer this kind of work than sitting on my desk the whole day.
I think this is something I should consider when I look for a job. I trust the results of my experiments much better than those of my simulations.
Another thing that I realize today: working with my supervisor needs a lot of patience, patience, and patience…
So, you know what? Let’s finish this entire thesis thing as soon as possible!!!
